3 arrested after shelter-in-place at Colorado State University
DENVER (KDVR) — Three people were arrested after police say an altercation prompted a shelter-in-place order at Colorado State University Friday night.
A reverse 911 alerted people in the area of police activity near Aspen Hall on campus just after 8 p.m. Friday. The alert advised people to take shelter.
Within a half-hour of the alert, the shelter-in-place was lifted. The university provided an update saying the incident began at Summit Hall and moved to Aspen Hall.
By about 9 p.m., the university said the incident was “all clear” and said three suspects were in custody.
A spokesperson for the university told FOX31 that the incident stemmed from an altercation and no injuries were reported.
