Former One Direction member Liam Payne has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. The singer was 31.

2. Catskill PD investigate hit-and-run causing dog death

A recent hit-and-run of a dog in the Village is being investigated by the Catskill Police Department. The driver suspected of hitting the husky named Rocky has been found.

3. One person killed in early morning Schenectady fire

City officials have confirmed that during the overhaul of the first-floor apartment, a second person was found and pronounced dead.

4. New haunted house experience coming to Troy

A new haunted house experience is coming to Troy this Halloween. The Black Box: 5 Room Haunting Experience will be in the Arts Center of the Capital Region’s Black Box Theatre starting on October 25.

5. Winter’s Dream not returning to Lake George this winter

Winter’s Dream, a light and projection show produced by Moment Factory, is not returning to Fort William Henry Hotel in Lake George this winter. Instead, the attraction is set to return in November 2025.
