Burn victim in life-threatening condition after downtown incident | CBC News
A burn victim is in hospital in life-threatening condition after an early Monday incident in downtown Ottawa.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Queen Street just after 6 a.m., according an Ottawa Police post on X about a “serious assault investigation.”
No other details were released and police said the circumstances are under investigation.
Part of the sidewalk in front of the Parliament LRT station was still taped off as of 10 a.m., though access to the station remained open.
Police have asked anyone with information to call the Central Criminal Investigations Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5166.
