David Graham: Third arrest made amid murder investigation into Uddingston death
A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a man amid a murder investigation in South Lanarkshire.
David Graham, 38, was attacked while walking alone in General’s Gate, Uddingston, at about 7.35pm on Sunday 6 October.
Mr Graham, from Cambuslang, was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police Scotland subsequently launched a murder probe and in an update on Wednesday announced a 28-year-old man had been arrested in connection with Mr Graham’s death.
The force later said he had been “released pending further enquiries”.

Liam Kippen, 29, was arrested and charged earlier this month in connection with the case and made no plea to the single murder charge when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on 10 October.
Kippen, from Motherwell, was remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance.
A 41-year-old man has also been arrested and released pending further investigation.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing.”
