CHICAGO — A search is underway for an elderly man who officers say has been missing for over a week.
According to Chicago police, 70-year-old John Barfield has been missing since Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Officers said the missing man was last seen in the 900 block of West Cullom Avenue, in Buena Park.
Barfield, who stands 6 feet tall and weighs around 150 pounds, has brown eyes and grey hair.
A photo provided by police shows Barfield with facial hair, however, it is unclear if he had any at the time of his disappearance.
The public was notified about the missing man’s disturbance in a news release on Thursday, but officers did not say what he was last spotted wearing.
