Jamieleigh Hardy posted a video of her mum, Laura Price, attempting a decoration trend she had seen online.
In the trend, people hold a wine glass to a window and then spray fake snow over the hand and glass. The aim is for the shape of the glass to then show up on the window.
However, Laura’s attempt at spraying the outline of a Madri glass on the window was not as successful, as shown in the viral TikTok video, which at the time of writing has amassed more than 1.4 million views.
In the video, filmed above the Fox and Hounds pub, she can be seen attempting the trend before admitting defeat saying “this is a load of bull****”.
Ewood Park can be seen in the background of the video.
Jamieleigh, 22, also from Blackburn, said she never expected the video to get as many views as it has.
She said: “Mum was basically trying to do a video TikTok trend which I had shown and we just think this video is funny.
“I’ve always wanted lots of views and to be a TikTok creator and make money off there, I’ve been trying for years – and this was just not even a video I was going to put [online].
“It’s so funny, both of us were wheezing [with laughter].”
Hundreds of people have commented on the video since it went online.
One person said: “The fact it’s a pint glass, not a Champagne glass is killing me.”
Another said: “I’m glad I’m not the only one that can’t do this trend.”
“I was going to do that, think I’ve changed my mind now,” said another.
Another commenter said: “At first I thought ‘why is she spraying crab claws on the window?’”
“It always seems such a great idea in your head,” said another.
