Man delivering pizza injured in armed robbery, Windsor police say | CBC News
One person had some minor injuries after what Windsor police say was an armed robbery Monday night.
Officers responded to reports of an assault in the Goyeau Street and Shepherd Street east area around 11 p.m.
According to Windsor police a man was delivering pizza when four male suspects approached him and demanded he hands over his vehicle keys and everything in his possession.
When the victim tried to escape, police say the suspects “assaulted him and revealed both a black handgun and bear spray to the victim,” and fled the area when they were confronted by a witness.
The man suffered minor injuries. Police are now looking for four suspects.
Police described one suspect as a male, around six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing black clothing and a face mask at the time of the incident.
Three other suspects are all male, around 5’10 with a medium build, and also wore black clothing and face masks.
Police are asking people in the area at the time to check their dash or surveillance camera for information.
