Police are searching for the gunman involved in a deadly Christmas Day shooting in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported shortly before 9 p.m. in the 8700 block of Cedros Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the apartment building-lined street to find a 30-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds down on the sidewalk.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed to KTLA.
Investigators believe the victim was in a verbal altercation with another man when that person pulled out a gun and fired multiple rounds.
No description of the suspect was released but he was believed to have fled in a vehicle.
No information was provided regarding the suspect’s vehicle’s make, model or color.
