With a new Dáil elected, the Leinster House ushers have carefully placed navigation signs around the building so the new batch of TDs can find their way to the chamber, the toilet and, of course, the members’ bar.

Some of the new TDs brought family and friends to the parliament in Kildare Street, Dublin, to show them around their new workplace while things were quiet.
