Police arrest driver, suspect at large after San Diego gas station robbery

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego Police have arrested one person and are searching for another suspect after a robbery at a gas station Saturday morning.

San Diego Police officers responded at 7:08 a.m. Saturday to reports of a robbery at the 76 gas station at 3010 Market Street in the Stockton neighborhood.

According to police, an unidentified man walked into the 76 gas station Saturday morning and pulled out a gun, demanding display items from the cashier. He then got into the passenger side of a black Dodge truck that fled the scene.

Police later found the truck and arrested the driver, identified Saturday night as Juan Correa. The suspect police say was armed with the firearm was not found and remains at large.

Police have described the suspect as a Hispanic man, 20-30 years old, who was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, with a face mask, red gloves, and black and white athletic shoes.

San Diego Police did not specify if anything was taken or an amount, but did say no one was injured.
