Sean Penn, 64, and girlfriend Valeria Nicov, 30, make red carpet debut at Marrakech International Film Festival
Sean Penn and his model girlfriend Valeria Nicov made their red carpet debut at the 21st Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco on Saturday.
The “Mystic River” star, 64, looked dapper in a classic suit and tie, while Nicov, 30, wore a strapless black gown with draping in the front.
Penn was being honored at the film festival for his successful career as an actor and director.
The Oscar winner and his much-younger girlfriend have been linked since early September when they were spotted passionately making out while walking in Madrid.
They were then seen locking lips at Los Angeles International Airport in early October.
The jet-setting couple flew to Paris later that month and were seen cuddled up as they walked the streets, per photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
Their relationship comes two years after Penn’s divorce from Australian actress Leila George, 32.
They split after one year of marriage and about five years together.
“We were married technically for one year, but for five years, I was a very neglectful guy,” the actor admitted to Hollywood Authentic in April 2022.
“[I] allowed myself to think that my place in so many other things was so important, and that included my place in being totally depressed and driven to alcohol and Ambien at 11 o’clock in the morning, by watching the news, by watching the Trump era, by watching it and just despairing.”
Penn was also previously married to Madonna from 1985 to 1989 and to Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010. He and Wright, 58, share two children: daughter Dylan, 33, and son Hopper, 31.
He recently denied claims that he hit Madonna, 66, with a baseball bat in 1987. The “Vogue” singer also shut down the rumors in 2015, calling them “completely outrageous, malicious, reckless and false.”
Penn has also dated Olga Korotyayeva and actress Charlize Theron.
