Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Vice President-Designate Kaja Kallas. Secretary Blinken and High Representative and Vice President-Designate Kallas discussed the importance of the U.S.-EU partnership in approaching shared global challenges, including supporting Ukrainian freedom and independence in the face of Russia’s aggression, cooperating on trade, promoting our joint economic competitive advantages, and working to bring stability to conflict zones worldwide.
