Teen hospitalized, dogs killed after Inland Empire house fire
A house fire overnight in the Inland Empire left a teenager hospitalized.
The fire, reported just before 2 a.m. in Jurupa Valley, destroyed a one-story house near the area of Canal Street and Pacific Avenue.
At least one person was trapped inside the home when fire crews arrived, according to stringer service OnScene.TV.
That person, identified only as a teenager, was rescued from the home by fire crews.
The teenager was hospitalized and was in unknown condition as of Thursday morning.
A total of three dogs were killed in the fire, according to OnScene.TV. A nearby shop was also involved.
No additional details, including the cause of the blaze, were immediately made available.
