MIAA TMC MEETING

Thursday’s impromptu Tournament Management Committee meeting lasted less than 20 minutes, thus it served as a warmup for next Thursday’s session. The gist of the meeting consisted of TMC chairman Shaun Hart of Burlington talking about the need for a little bit of rethinking what was more important moving forward: the need to keep every division balanced or have divisions based more on competitive equity.

“This is the fourth year of the new statewide tournament,” Hart said. “We saw that there were some issues (in the fall) and wanted to fix things before the winter year started. That’s why we held this meeting so we can discuss things before next week’s meeting.”
