Cleveland Police have confirmed that the victim of the murder in the Lealholm Walk area of Eston on November 21, is 34-year-old John Donaldson.
The police force also revealed that A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of John Donaldson and remains in police custody.

Family pay tribute to Eston ‘stabbing’ victim John Donaldson:
Following the police’s announcement, Mr Donaldson’s family have paid tribute to him, saying: “John ‘Bamber’ Donaldson was a very much-loved son, brother, uncle, grandson and nephew.
“Please allow family to grieve his loss in these traumatic times. RIP ‘Bamber’.”
