Winnipeg police are requesting the public’s help to locate an 11-year-old girl in Winnipeg.
Bella Cook was last seen on Sept. 26 at 8:44 p.m. near Edderton Avenue and Derek Street and hasn’t been seen or heard from since, police said in a Monday news release.
Cook is known to frequent Winnipeg’s North End and the Southern Chiefs’ Organization mixed-used building — formerly known as Hudson’s Bay — in downtown Winnipeg, police said.
She is described as being five foot and two inches tall with a thin build, medium length black hair that’s usually worn in a ponytail and brown eyes.
Police said Cook was last seen wearing a grey Nike sweater, black sweatpants and white runners while carrying a black and red backpack and a blue bag.
Police are concerned for Cook’s well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250, Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477, or by visiting missingkids.ca or calling 1-866-KID-TIPS (543-8477).
