Woman fatally struck by train in unincorporated Oswego Township: Kendall County Sheriff's Office

UNINCORPORATED OSWEGO TOWNSHIP — An investigation is underway after a woman struck by a train in unincorporated Oswego Township.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, a call was received around 9:15 p.m. Thursday about a train striking a pedestrian in the Orchard Rd and Mill Rd area.

Upon arrival, a woman was found dead and appeared to have been struck by a train in the area of Light Road and Commerce Drive.

An investigation is ongoing.
